Jeff Blaszkowski

Founder, Body Corporate Gold Coast | 12+ years of business development in QLD strata | Strata owner

Jeff has spent 12+ years on the business development side of Queensland strata. He started in management rights support at Burleigh Tourism, moved into onsite management, then joined Accor as a BDM looking after a 40+ hotel management-letting-rights portfolio. From there he moved into BDM roles at Smarter Communities and Bright & Duggan, building relationships with committees and owners across schemes of every size.

Jeff is also a strata owner himself. That gives him both perspectives: the industry-side one, from years of conversations with committees, owners, and onsite managers, and the owner-side one, from reading his own levy notices, sitting through his own AGMs, and weighing the same decisions everyone else in a scheme weighs.

Jeff is not a licensed strata manager. Body Corporate Gold Coast was built from what he has seen on both sides of the table, after years of watching committees appoint managers with incomplete information. BCGC gives committees a transparent, no-cost way to compare established and trusted partners side by side.

Body Corporate Gold Coast is run by Jeff Blaszkowski, a Gold Coast–based business development manager with 20+ years in business development, including 12+ years in QLD strata (Accor, Smarter Communities, Bright & Duggan). Jeff has supported committees, owners and managers across hundreds of schemes and currently owns inside a strata scheme, so this site is written from the owner-committee perspective.

Who runs Body Corporate Gold Coast?

Why was BCGC created?

BCGC was created after years of watching committees choose a body corporate manager with incomplete information. Often the choice is based on whoever the developer appointed or the first manager the committee spoke to. BCGC gives committees a transparent way to compare established and trusted managers side by side, with no cost and no pressure.

Is BCGC independent from the management partners?

Yes. BCGC is not owned by, or a subsidiary of, any body corporate or strata management company. Our partners are independent businesses that pay a referral fee per proposal request. BCGC has no role in the appointment decision itself.

How does BCGC make money?

BCGC’s body corporate and strata management partners pay a referral fee each time a committee submits a proposal request to them. The service is completely free for committees. BCGC receives no fee from the appointment decision or from any ongoing management agreement.
